Evo 4 trouble possible throttle position sensor?

Hi guys I'm new to the evo scene after only owning my evo 4 for one week and already having trouble with it!!
The first think was I was on high boost when the car filled up with smoke after inspecting the engine bay I discovered that the dipstick has shot out and there was oil all over
I noticed that the dipstick was really loose so put a bit of ptfe tape round it and that seems to have solved the problem

But then when on boost again I keep getting the engine management light flashing on and off but if I stick to about 3000 rpm it drives spot on with no lights but the funny thing is when on high boost it still pulls well just backfires and off it goes .
Then last night on my way home from work noticed was a little low on fuel so called at filling station to top up but after setting off it cut out and engine was knocking after about 10 times of restarting it finally fired up and was able to drive home with no engine knock or anything so was thinking poss was low on fuel? But fuel light was not on

I did a diagnostic using a piece of cable and earthing pin one and the light flashed one long and four quick the light is the ayc that flashed is this defanatly the throttle position sensor at fault?

Just a update I've noticed the battery terminal was loose so tightened it and reset ecu now there's no faults at min gona go for a drive init a little later
