Evo 4 to 8 swap: no fuel/no ac fan

Swapped a VIII engine and ECU into my IV. Made a conversion harness for the ECU with an extension harness.

Swapped Pin 8 and 22.
Connected Vehicle Pin 20 to ECU Pin 32 for AC Fan High
Connected Vehicle Pin 21 to ECU Pin 34 for AC Fan Low
Disconnected Pin 87
Disabled the immobilizer

I have no fuel pressure and my blower motor does not work. I just double and triple checked my wiring and it is correct, but with the problems I'm having, everything is pointing to a wiring issue. All my fuses are good.

Any tips or advice?

I Hooked up the VI ECU that was on it before and it started.

If your only swapping the engine then you can keep the ecu. You don't have to swap to the 8 ecu aswell!!

Is it ok to drive with the Evo 6 fuel map or should it be re-tuned immediately?

Was it a std or tuned map?
Have you changed anything else with the engine. I.e. Turbo, air filter etc

I cant say for sure if it has the OEM map but it ran fine and got the standard gas mileage on my stock IV engine with VI injectors. Both engines are stock except the 3" CBE but it was never tuned for that. With the higher boost levels of the VIII engine, won't I have issues when I floor it?

What boost were you running before engine swap?
You say std engine but have you fitted the 8 turbo or was it purely an engine swap?
How is your boost controlled?

I was unable to go WOT before the swap because my clutch was slipping so I could not measure the boost.
It was a complete engine swap with the 8 turbo included.
I have no boost controller.

Run actuator pressure with the 6 ecu will be ok.
Std 8 runs approx 1.2bar
Actuator should be 0.8bar

Boost in controlled via the ecu as std. You can also control via standalone systems i.e. boost controller. Or via another mechanical device. Either way they ultimately pass the control to the actuator which should run at 0.8bar. All you are doing is putting secondary system inline to increase the boost. So if the car's boost control fails you revert back to actuator pressure.
So by running just actuator pressure your running on a safe amount and don't need to have the map adjusted to suit. It's only when you run more boost than std that you need it checked and mapped to suit.
If you pipe direct from turbo to actuator with vac pipe. Then you will only run actuator pressure.

Yes but remove it all and just have 1 pipe from actuator to turbo.
Don't have the T piece and trace the rest of the vac pipe and block it of.
