Evo 4 Rear Fog Light????

Hi my first MOT with my 4 is approching for the first time of me owning the car and has just come to my attention that it has no rear fog light.
i know this is due to it being an import but how would it of got through previos MOT's???. Do i need to wire a rear fog in to a switch for it to pass or will it be one of those where if it hasnt got one they cant test it?

As Lee said they have to have a foglight before it is issued with it's first mot in this country. Are you sure the previous owner hasn't done a rear light coversion for the fog

Prob just removed it like I did on my VII

i had the same problem on mine.... it had no sign of one, no bracket, gap in bumper, switch, nothing... so i wired my own up. its fairly simple... here is the link.....

thats ok buddy. i thought the same, no signs at all and was wondering how it had passed before!! lol. but its done now. i prefer it that way as it is hidden but still legal.

seen many imports that have been in the country for years without fog lights, probably just friendly mot testers,

Dan I'd check the front foglight switch first. It might be wired to come on at the same time as the front fogs. Check if any of your rear reverse lights have a different coloured bulb in them

No mate just checked and it only does front fogs so atil gonna go with youngy's plan
