evo 4 oil light

hey guys
started my car this morning and my oil light wont go out
car is full of oil and ideas guys hoping not big money

checked the oil pressure switch wire is on? might of come loose or split

Either that or the oil pump has given up the ghost :-(

pressure switch is still connected .......could the switch it self be shot ......
don't think its oil pump

put the switch wire to ground and see if the light comes on.

comes on .........! it wont go out ....how do you mean m8 don't mean to be thick but I don't get what you mean

Sorry my mistake pull the wire off does the light go out ?

Sorry my mistake pull the wire off does the light go out . I put new one from main dealer but once connected light was still on ...........! then came in on lap top saw your post pulled the wire off n oil light went out WTF please tell good news

UP DATE
ive fitted a oil pressure gauge electrical one
on cold start up engine was reading 80psi ran till hot and went up to 82psi
then drove her round block and gave her 1bar of boost and she went up to 90psi
is this good or bad ........
no nocking or banging engine still running normal
peoples thought please

but its not moving ......as in at idle its still 80psi and on boost 1bar it goes up to 90psi but only goes back to 80psi
