Evo 4 Fire extinguisher

I've just bought an evo 4 and the owner had removed the fire extinguisher, where am i supposed to fit it and what does it extinguish?

any help would be much appreciated

Is this car standard?
You can fit hand held ones anywhere you wish. i would suggest passenger footwell very close to the seat so it doesnt get in peoples feets way.
They dont automatically do anything though.

I think its a flare located on the passenger side kick panel,still fitted to mine,i haven't touched it,cant be used in this country just a nice touch to have

you want to place a fire extinguisher where you can get to it easily but not in the way
