blue smoke = burning oil mate, need to be a little bit more descriptive about the prob, has it just started? is it boosting?

how dense is the blue smoke?
are you loosing/burning engine oil?
it could be excessive fuel aswell.
unlikely the turbo.

hi mate no having bad look with them at the moment,i am not sure if it is boosting or not as i m scared i will do more damage on boost,it has no knocks or bangs n starts at flick of the key,it smokes slightly on idle and as i leave it running for a few mins it gets bad, that bad that you can barely c anythng behind the car.

now that sounds bad .
you need to check if it boosts'
are you loosing much engine oil & you have to check the spark plugs mate.
by doing all this it should give you an answer to your problem.
good luck .

Run a compression test buddy.
This is one of 2 faults.
You have a piston ring or more that have cracked or your turbo has done one.

Not cheap either way.

Keep us posted.

best bet is tell us what you see on the plugs, even better take pictures

im just thinking of easy ways for you to do checks as im assuming your toolbox is limited and lacking such items as comp testers,

if you can remove the inlet pipe (the bit from the turbo to the inlet manifold) you dont have to take it off completly, just look and feel inside and see if there are any pools of oil as this will indicate blown turbo,
