evo 4 ecu

This question probabley has been asked a thousand times but i cant seem to find anything. I was told by a freind that a e4 standard ecu cant be mapped is this true? if so can you take an ecu from the 5 or 6 any help would be appreciated thanks,

Yup that's right. 5 or 6 ecu and injectors and ur good to go

Does the loom plug straight in to the 5 or 6 ECU? What are the injectors like to change ?

As far as I'm aware plugs straight in you just need the map after. Injectors are an ok job just awkward as they at the back of engine bay

are you keeping the evo 4 engine standard? if so you wont need the later injectors, just the 5/6 ecu.

To be honest Sponners i would be happy with about 300-310 until i get used to the car then probs would buy an 8 fq, what would i be looking at to get it to 300 ecu chip and remap or would it aquire anything else.:hm:

Decent intake, exhaust and boost controller should at least see you close to that. Look for rsv robs thread on stage 1 mods.
