Evo 4 cut out now wont start

Hi, can any one help me, just had a new manifold fitted. After it was all done fired it up to make sure not leaking and within 10 seconds, the car just cut out and now wont start, just turns over. Its getting fuel though, got a good spark, theres no fault showing on the code test. Its been at the garage now 3 days just for a couple of hours job.

If an engine has

Fuel

Spark

only other thing needed is compression then it has to go broom.


Did you use the stock injectors or have you swapped them ?

What manifold was fitted ?

Was all new gaskets used ?

Have all electrical connections been checked to make sure they in correctly and in correct place ?


If you have just had an Exhaust manifold fitted ignore the above as you did not say what manifold lol

But just changing an exhaust manifold should not cause any problems

Did you disconnect the battery at all is so did you take car through the learn process ?

Hi mate, the bloke in the garage phoned to say all fixed. Driving home, when the bov kicks in i get a cloud of white smoke now out the exhurst. Any ideas.

white will be condensation normally? Blue is the turbo. Black is oil. Flame's are fuel lol sorry didn't read first post right lol white smoke when you lift off or change gear?

maybe over fueling? Does it bang? Sure it's white? Is it thick smoke? Some one with more info for you should be along soon.
