Evo 4 Bhp

Just had mine on the rollers and it made only 230bhp and 220 Foot Torque
Eurospec say all 4s have around this figure.
Anyone else have a low rolling rd figure.

Should be 280bhp same as the rest. Do you have the graphs for us to see ?

before i had mine mapped, my 5 was running about 250bhp, i know they are old so expect a small drop but 220 is very low!!

maybe a slight prob with the car? boost leak? mixture not quite right? what intake you got? there is a lot of reasons why it would come out lower.

like already been said it will come out slighly lower because of age but not that low

Get a compression test done.
Sounds like a warn engine.

hi there i took my evo 4 the first time i got 236, so i looked in to the problem and it turned out to be the turbo at fault, so i got hold of a evo 8 mr turbo and it solved the problem,
i tweeked the boost at the rolling road to and now i have 307

alot of people told me different figures for the standard bhp,

is that at the fly or wheels? if at wheels then 230 +21% = 278.3 so very good, if at fly may need looking into...
