hey everyone hope ur all good a quick question ive just got hold of the dyno printout for my evo 4 it put out 306 bhp with just a ralliart exhaust with cat still in and a hks filter do u reckon thats about right or do u reckon it might have something else done to it cheers fellas

Sounds like it's had a map but not on a standard 4 ecu ?? That is a good gain from just filter and exhaust ;)

I remember a member in the past claiming that just with a HKS SPF-R and nothing else, he still managed a gain of 18 BHP when he went for a Dyno run!

cheers mate thinking about a decat do you no if any members have had any problems doing that and roughly what sort of power gain

if you de-cat, you will bring up the engine man. light i believe, due to the cat temp sensor....not sure if you can get around this in any other way...

to stop the cat light on the dash you need to just cut the 2 wires on the sensor and join them up......or just remove the bulb in the dash.

There are some de-cats available that the probe can fit into, if it has not been removed already.

Joining the wires together and soldering the joint as suggested by Sponners will be the best bet, assuming that they have been snipped already.

If the light remains on then the engine has other issues that need addressing.
