Evo 3 mapped...BLOWN ENGINE!!!

Had evo 3 mapped Friday, new e6 injectors n a fuel filter too. Spent £580..every penny of savings. Took it out next evening and 1 hour later it blew up!!!
Piston 2 rod shot hole thru block and 2 thru sump

I can't say just at the minute, I have always ran 1 bar and was 268bhp they made it 315 bhp and pushed 1.5 bar boost which seemed too much, engines not forged

Maybe, as I only push about 1.3 on Evo 4 but if it's original engine rod fatigue could have caused the failure, without stripping it down it be difficult to tell, you could just be unlucky.

Duno wot that is but the one above is the only type I got

its the graph that shows you what the fueling is doing, normally on the dyno dynamics rollers it also shows the boost profile through the gears

sorry to hear about your loss, 1.5 bar boost on an standard early evo engine is suicidal, the mapper should of known better.
