I have held a full cpc for twenty years , national and international so i should get my insurance for free... lol
You are not classed as a professional driver mate for a start, even tho you get paid to drive.
Come back when you get an Evo with another smart comment. Until then just keep earning your boss loads of money.

turn it in! for one thing i didnt ask for your commets, but you had to leave one coming across as a know it all..the last thing i needed was someone to tell why i cant get insured, as i have had that all day with the insurers! so go and leave your smart comments for someone else. and one more thing iam happy earning my boss loads of money you joker! another pointless comment by you, you just cant help yourself.

If you've got no ncb then insuring an evo is going to cost you thousands...there is no way around that : If I was you I'd try and find an insurer that will recognise your previous ncb even though it has lapsed (I think some are better at this than others). Putting it in your g/f's name might get the car insured, but it's not legal as it has to be in your name if you are the main driver. Same with faking your job title etc...sure it will get you an insurance cert, but if you had to put in a claim and people started sniffing around....

yeah! i see what your saying.....i messed it up myself, should of keep the insurance going and i would of had about 4years now.. ill sort something out! cheers anyway...

looks like i won't be buying my evo anytime soon, just got a quote of £2700 :shock: for a fq330 for the year, i am just 2 months out for getting my ncb from the last insurance to carry onto the next so i will have to start my ncb bonus again... i am pi**ed off.. i can't believe it, i have a done a cpc course and smith systems driving course coz of the job i do and they don't even recognised them, i am a class one driver and it don't even matter! no wonder why people drive with no cover..

Hold on you post on a public forum, complaining and saying you have this that and the other silly little qualification and they are worth nothing, someone else posts the same and you get all defensive.
Anyway going for a drive in my Evo tomorrow that under qualified truck drivers pay for .......lol

thats right, they aint worth nothing! i know that now as the insurers told me that, but thats what i get for listening to other people. but you have to act like we are in a playground! going out in my evo tomorrow, hahahahaha... listen to your self! think your better then other poeple, how low..grow up!

A little advice for you hotshot.

IF you trust your girlfriend register the car in her name so it's all above board, get her to insure it in her name with you as a named driver.
That's how i do mine as i have the same problem as you, claimed off insurance twice no problem.

me the hotshot! why didnt you just day this in the first place! the only reason i think you think less of people as you come across as that in your last post. very negative! i had that all day with the insurers as i said, but on a plus side thanks..

if you know some one who runs a business and will say you have had use of a company car for social and domestic pleasure purposes and will give you a letter stating this and that you have had no accidents or claims use a site like confused.com say you had use for 7 yrs etc after 12 months on that policy you ncb will be 8 yrs , i got my 8 yrs ncb in 12mths
