the only thing i take personaly is the constant jib at me, wether directly or indirectly.

everyone was aware of the reasons why i couldnt attend the fast show and im sorry but we dont all have money flowing out of our pockets so due to server lack of funds i never had over £100 to throw away on fuel to attend a car show.
comes down to priorities im affraid.


and how can you say foxy done such a good job at the fast show when you have already said how the clubs members were left to organise the stand ??

shit stiring is all thats going on here


i have no issues with regional organisers. and foxy agreed to get members in to events at pod which she said she wanted to do. so whats the big deal here.....?

Foxy did do a good job .....and as for members putting the stand up...DO YOU THINK WE WOULD STAND THERE and LET you do it on your own....NO is the simple answer to that .

If you want to put up all the stands etc on your own then so be it .....IF people want to help then whats the issue ?


And as for your money issue ....maybe you should think about that before posting such rash statements as

"as for me not attending fast show i do recall a member on here saying that 1:40mins to travel to combe is to far so wont be attending. seems im expected to travel 3hrs to a show though ???? "

Money is tight for everyone Lee so maybe its a fair comment to make if a show is to far to attend for ordinary members ?

I don't want to step on anyone's toes here, but I don't mind organising events shows and meets in and around the my region, I have been for a while now so it's no skin off my nose

I've only been posting up shows cos if I hadn't it wouldn't of got done lol

Lee if your happy to organise all the events then I don't mind taking a step back, but you need to start posting up events up and down the country not just Coombe

I've put that Devon one to you but you haven't posted anything up about it yet, come on pull your finger out man :razz:

Just for the record clare had the banners, flags, poles and a gazebo which I had put in her car the night before so I could take mine up the strip, she ucked off with her car keys and never took her mobile phone with her, for hours and I couldn't find her, I searched every where and eventually after 15 trips to the girls loo looking for her, I found the other girls that said she was in the loo, I had to walk yes walk from one end ( family camping ) of pod to give the tickets out at the gate, an had to wait there for 2 other
members to arrive and i got a lift back which took a while, at rally day if I remember it weren't just Lee that organised the stand ALL the members chipped in which is how it should be !

So if I didn't put a flag pole up or banner up I'm sorry but I was busy sorting members out with tickets and passes, trying to find my girls that dissapeared, get ready, welcome a new promo girl to the girls, have something to eat and drink, meet a tog, talk to the public and members on other stands, and have
photos taken and give out flyers, now the last time I checked I could of swore I only had two arms not eight ! :sad:

I'd been running around all day sat, and all day Sunday, everything I did or do is for the club, it weren't like I was sat in my car asleep I was running around
making sure everything ran smoothly as it could.

I know this thread is closed but I'm going to state my thinking.
Lee does a fantastic job under the guise of events organiser and foxy does a whole host of jobs great!
People need to remember we are a small and free club. We don't have the member base, funds or other resources to do things exactly as the could be done but we make the very best of what we can.
If there is someone who wants to step up to the mark and organise a show then shout!
