First of Hello to all its glad to finnaly be a proud owner. :razz:

I pick up my first Evo Saturday after being a subaru owner for the last 6years both WRX and STI's. Thought is was about time I came to the Brighter side :angel:

Took me a while to find but The Evo im picking up is the Evo 9 FQ-340, 50k miles, FMSH, all services " every 4500k oil air etc changed". All belts etc done 5months ago... Its been well treated and loved so time for me to keep it up and maintain her to the highest of levels

Any way I Live in essex around the southend area 32 years old, but never grown up when it comes to cars ;p as you all i guess :razz:

Bout the never grow up thing, meaning the missis don't agree lol. But my job involves working away all week so having a toy at the weekend makes it all that worth while. If it was her choice ild be in a 1.1 fiesta or somthing...... And that just ain't gonna happen lol.

Although the average age of Evo ownership seems to be going down it is still quite high........at least thats what I keep telling myself.

*UPDATE*

Well ladies and Gentleman its just an update to say 200miles later shes now in my Hands absolutly fantastic and so comfortable to drive, and to add to that, when it had its cambelt etc changed *50k service..... 6k ago* looking through the history at the same time had an uprated excedy clutch put in with the total of almost 2k spent on it all in toll.... so was very happy, "gonna dread sitting in traffic as very heavy clutch" lol,

Im gonna have a look about the forums or maybe a short reply here would be much appriciated. anyway the only concerns i have are ...

It almost looks like the engine and ABS lights on the dash are on....there a little dull "not as bright as when you first switch the ignition" ... is that normal or?

Also with the Tarmac, Gravel and snow lights on Dash all seem to be lit. I can select when the car first has the key put in "one lit" ... but after say 2mins all the lights are on... is that right?
