Engine Wiring Help?

Can anyone tell me what these resistors are for as they don't look oem the first one sits on the rocker cover and I'm not sure where the other goes maybe someone might recognize the plug. Any help most appreciated

looks a bit like what they put in place to adjust the speedo but that would be on the plug that goes onto the speedo drive

Hi mate thanks for the reply and I'm pretty sure you are correct from what I've read. My evo has the kph clocks in so does this resistor make the kph to mph. Thanks again

If it's connected to the wire going to the speedo drive which is topside of the gearbox then yea
