Engine light is on, not accelerating past 3500

Just happened. I'll be waiting until after the long weekend to check it checked out. I was driving the car pretty hard. It felt almost like a boost hose popped of but I can't see anything wrong. Is it was a boost leak, I don't think that would cause the engine light to turn on. The car drives fine up until 3500, the. It starts to lose power, then it hits a limit. Running 373bhp at the moment. Any clue to what this might be?
