Engine build by MG Autos inc drop in deal

Went to MG autos today to tidy up the engine bay before engine goes in.

Thanks to the MG crew for letting me use their tools.

Not bad for rattle cans. Rust proofing with bilt hamber electro zinc primer.

No having a tantrum at all lol just thought members on here would appreciate a quality engine build and what's involved.

I'm over the moon with the customer service by MG and the extra mile they going for me on this build. Will be a very strong engine once complete.

How many miles you got to do?

I ran my old scoob in after being built, they set with a 3k rpm rev limit :razz:

Firstly I just like to say Thank you to MAT, DAVE, STEVE and everyone else who was involved in the Re-built engine, for example Tim radley @ race developments.

My engine had 4 oil changes 250,500,750,1000 miles

After every engine oil change the tone of the engine was getting better and better.

Today was the final oil change and Re-map, result:

AWESOME

I could not believe that the same turbo (IX 80 series) produced so much power/torque. I was shocked to say the least, Dave knew as I had a smile from ear to ear :lol: Now your maybe thinking it cant be much quicker than before IT simply is I cant believe it myself.

Now this just shows that the dirty build it had previously was down on power and all sorts of problems.

Power wise it feels as quick if not quicker than my mates 996 TT 450BHP.

Il add a spec list as soon as I get it.
