En route to a funeral

Hi all,

On the bus up to Barnsley at the mo en route to a funeral of 1 of my lads at work.

I'm posting up as he sadly died in an RTA a few weeks ago and I just wanted to urge people to drive safe out there.

He was travelling in a friends car, in a 30, when it left the road, collided with a lamp post, went through a garden wall and ended up half in someone's garden, half in the window.

The lad, who I won't name but was only 18 and had been at reg a couple of weeks, was pronounced dead on the scene.

So please drive safe out there.

So sad to hear this a mate of mine got killed a few years bk all excited about buyin a track prepped 106 took a trek to go and view the car the guy wudn let him drive so took him for enthusiastic drive and never returned ended up comin round a bend too quick and the passenger side impacting with a lad rover killin my mate who was a passenger
Accidents can happen to anyone at anytime.. And doesn't have to be out fault

Sad to hear Nath.

The roads are dangerous places at the end of the day and people need to factor this into their driving.

Yep it's happens all the time, and it's devastating when it hits so close to home.
A close friend of mine was a passenger while her bf was driving, he lost control of the car, hit a lamppost she went out the windscreen onto the bonnet.

She survived but he took the full force of the impact, and she had to turn he's life support machine off a few days later. :sad::sad:

I honestly don't know how she mustered up the strength to do it, they were at mine a week before it happened.
Absolutely gutted, was an understatement of how she felt, he had no parents as they died in a car accident too, so she was left on her own to do everything and she was only 25 !
