electrical problem

hi i plulled me head unit out to plug amp in but it now has lost power to the constant 12v power lead and the central locking does not work any ideas

what evo is it I'm sure theres fuses elsewhere other than the main fusebox

i found the ones on the driver side foot well and under the bonnet

does the central locking still work using the key and not the button??

no it only locks the door u use the key in . but before pulling head unit out the doors all locked with the button and the key

if the fuses are all ok then check the wires in the connector block are all secured properly. if they are then you may need an adaptor lead.

or just swap over the red and yellow wires as its cheaper!!

if swapping the wires over doesnt fix your problem then i would cut or isolate the "k line". this is the diagnostics wire and will be shown on a wiring diagram of the hu block.
