the only problem with that is when he unlocks he's car in the garage the mirrors will open and he has to fold he's mirrors in to get into the garage :razz:

Will be a problem if the doors lock when the car is started (alarm makes doors lock)

but when you are driving and lock the doors the alarm is not activated, just locks the doors. tbh i think it is best that when parking on the main road you just remember to fold the mirrors!!!

my alarm doesnt lock my doors after its been driven like some

this is what i want

1,still operate switch independantly
2,also have wing mirrors fold when ignition off
3,wing mirrors open when ignition on,then because switch is still operable i can then press switch to fold back in to get in an out of garage

Eh, how narrow is your garage, my car fly through the doorway and if I did fold them in then I would prob rub the front arches on the wall instead cos they stick out more than folded in mirrors. Mirrors make good guidance points cos as long as the mirror passes then I know the front arches won't catch the wall

the mirrors defo stick out more than the arches,my garage is big but my door way isnt once past the door then i can fold mirrors back out ill get pics up tommoz

well it would be simple enough to wire the mirrors up to the ignition using a relay. that way you should still be able to over-ride it using the manual switch. ill try on mine when i am on leave in 2 weeks and get back to you.

not a bad price for the seats.. Paid around £340/350 for the e5 interior i have in mine,,,
