Electric front window.

Please can someone assist me ?
I have an Evolution 8 and the trouble is
with the drivers side front window (rhd).
It was working fine but now you have to
keep the button pressed to bring it fully down
and when closing,it goes in short bursts.....
(pulling the button up 8 times to fully close.
Could it be the switch has gone faulty ?

Check all the other switches, have you had the battery off? Mine did this after i had the battery off..... but now my passenger switch has gone faulty
