electric door mirrors evo 7

i only realized today that i have electric door mirrors, however only the passenger side one works, i cant find a fuse for them, has anyone got any ideas please ??

i take it you have checked in the handbook?failing that have you googled it?

Do you mean the glass wont move or the whole mirror wont move mate...most Evo's have electricaly adjustable mirrors and folding mirrors

Chances are it will be the plastic cog they run on mate, once a couple of the teeth break off the mirror wont fold in, does it make a noise like it is trying to move?

The mirrors are sealed units so the chances of repairing is slim...which model Evo do you own?

Evo 7 mate, its not making any noises its lifeless. i thought i would ask you experts before going in with a volt meter and a hammer lol. ive only had the car a few weeks and didnt even know it had fold in mirrors till this morning. strange i cant find a fuse tho, i did think there would be a fuse ! Why is there no fuse ???

I'm not sure about the fuses mate, the mirror on my old VI used to make a noise but not move :confused:

my drivers mirror does this on my V,i have to move it by hand,will be getting a new motor for it soon.

They all seem to suffer at some point mate, really annoying lol

As far as I am aware they are sealed units so you would have to break the mirror casing to get to the motor?
