ebay scammers

This has happened to me twice now and I've only sold 3 thing on ebay.

Someone with no feedback bids the highest or buys it now and they mock up an invoive that is very convincing, and send it to you as if it were from ebay saying that xyz has paid for item ..... You agreed to ship within 2 working days blah blah blah. What the scammers are hoping is that you take this as gospel and just send the item without checking your paypal, and after you have sent it you check paypal and realise you now don't have the item or money.

Some of you may know this already as ebay has been around for years but I have only recently started sellin there so a heads up more than anything

Never heard of this and I've nearly 700 feedbacks all positive of course. Your just paranoid

i have also been warned on this before i started and had it tried on me once. it made me angry as it was only £26!! i mean, why go through all that trouble for such a small price!! :wtf:

I've not had this but have had 3 different people bid on 3 different occasions trying to buy the same item form me (I had to list it 3 times). Luckily, I didn't post the item even after the story of it being a gift for a birthday and needing to be there by a certain time. I even put in the ads, anyone with a score of less than 10 positive feedback, get intouch before bidding!

My advice is to remain vigilant at all times, regardless of whatever excuses are thrown your way.

I didn't post any of the items as I checked if payment had been made first. I can see how people would get caught out though the invoices are pretty well done and they even come up from paypal, your also get a txt message from 'ebay' saying ok to go ahead and ship.

I think I will be stating 0 feedback not welcome from now on
