E9 heater control unit fit e8 260

Been looking around at the non 260 heater control units with the silver controls and just wondered if they would fit my 260 as controls are all in same place and has the same ac button etc

in short no, as the 260 has cable controls where as the other models are electronic

Thanks wasn't sure pleased I didnt buy one. Can you change back lights in the 260 one so there the same Colour as clocks

Yes you can. Look on EvoM as there's a guide. Remember - the yanks call them HVAC's

Cool it's a bit odd having green controls with red clocks I'll have a go at it
