does anyone know what is need for a bumper conversion from e8 to e9.

i have just found a thread from over the road where some guy has quoted roughly £1300 for a complete swap and all parts, labour not inc.

i know that the e9 skin will not fit on the e8 innards and some extra parts are needed but what are these.

would i be better off doing a bumper mod whereby the bit in the middle of the grill is removed i have seen this a bit and looks to be a good result like below

You need the skin and all grills and strengthening bars and the oil cooler duct but if you bought a second hand one then it would prob come complete.

I do like that white 8 and nice mod. Prob any good bodyshop could do that for you :)

Agreed!

I have to agree with Nick on thinking it is silver though.

the one in the pic is white just a really dodgy picture.

what sort of price would i be looking at for a respray on the front bumper i should be able to get away with it being blown in. my friend can do the modification and prep.

i know a full on 9 bumper would be the best solution but there are bits from both bumpers i like and i would be in the same boat when i have it on as i would want bits from the 8 bumper

the 8 bumper isnt that bad lol. its the top grille im not a fan of the bottom i like though. the bottom.

i think the bumper mod and the carbon splitter would finish it off nicely

but it's not the bumper though is it:hm:it sits on the bottom of the bumper:p

I know this and was just saying that the best part of the 8 bumper is the splitter you can add to it cos I don't like the 8 bumper without it.

Yea and I was referring to the picture :razz::razz:
