E6 - PIAA Fog Lights - Odd Fault

I have an odd fault with my front fog lights. Only the drivers side one will come on.

Things I've done so far:
- Both are new bulbs (I've tested them in the light that works).
- I've taken the complete unit from the passenger side, plugged it into the drivers side, and it works
- I've taken the working drivers side unit and plugged it into the passenger side - it doesn't work
- I've stuck an electric tester into the wiring on the passenger side, and it's coming up live when the lights are on

Anyone experienced this before, does anyone have any suggestions of a fix?!?

So you have 12v there? But the amperage Isnt enough to make the light come on.Test the circuit under load, take a lamp with a lower wattage ..like a brake light bulb and see if it lights up brightly or just barely glows

meaning that you should trace the wires back to the relay,and check it .

And you will find a broken lead.

Bad earth my friend most likely! Try running a earth direct to the battery fella.
