I've just changed my thermostat on my Evo 4 due to the car temp dropping off and my heater blowing cool on the motorway. I decided to take the car to work yesterday pulled up in the car park and got a little puff of steam from the radiator due to my fan not kicking in...
Found there are 2 temp sender's..one for the dash gauge and one for the signal to the Ecu...
I'm guessing the the one that sends the signal to the ecu controls the fan?
Thanks for the help in advance :)

Yeah I unplugged that one and the gauge read nothing so I assumed the other went to the ecu and from that to the fan.I was hoping someone knew for sure.
I want to sort it asap as I've unplugged the fan from the engine loom and wired it to a switch to safely get to work and back, fingers crossed the sensors here tomorrow and I can give it some barstool again lol......The joys, broke it once a week so far,4th week lucky :)
