Just wondering what everyones preferences are on dump valves on the evo's.

My 6 has a blitz one fitted which im thinking about putting back to standard, Im not a fan of the dump valve and have always put back to standard on previous cars.

Is there any benefits of having one fitted to an evo?

It's purely for noise if it vents to atmosphere :)

Do you mean VTA or recirc? As they're all dump valves/BOV's. I have a Tial BOV but i'm running Autronics and no MAF :) Sounds good when 2.3 bar rushes through it ;)

Will be tuning to max 380 if it doesnt benefit anythin no point havin it on.

My current car came with an HKS VTA which I thought sounded proper chavvy. I changed it to a standard one.

I had a bailey VTA on my evo 8 and it sounded brilliant (imo)

If its VTA it will just give you a load noise some people like some people don't but if u go back to recirc them it will vent back in to the system and keep the turbo spinning there for reduces turbo lag

Some 1 correct me if I'm wrong but that's wot I thort.

I'm using a turbo smart BOV and it gives the best of both recirc and VTA.
