Dump Valve or No Dump Valve

Ok here is another question for the knowledgeable amongst you:-

What if any effects will be achieved by having NO dump valve?
Will it break anything by not having one?

as per first reply your turbo life would be shortened with no dump valve as the air you build up on boost will have no escape causing boost surge you put strain on all internal parts of your turbo does sound good tho

I had the APS bov on my second E6, it was awesome and quality made.

I'm not too great with all the different type brands and such but it's well made sounds good and works well with tha car without the stalling issues

I had a bailey one on my 8. Sounded really good.

My 5 had an HKS thing that sounded shizzle so I swapped it for a standard one.

no problemo i got a duel piston forge copy of ebay and turned it into a single port nice sound cost me £32 brand new and just brought a re circ valve for the same money

There's a lad selling an HKS bov on the MLR for £80.
That's the one I had on my 5 that was too loud for me.
