Quick questions chaps, how much play is normal in front drop links on a standard evo?

On full lock I can rotate and move the drop links on both sides quite easily by hand, they are still attached but I'm getting excessive movement in the steering after this winters rough roads

Any ideas?

Struts replaced by Mitsi under warranty pre Xmas

Cheers

Matt

are they standard or aftermarket drop links, we find rose joint ones don't last long at all, therefore best sticking to the standard type.

Just standard original ones Andy, does that sound normal the being able to turn drop link?

When the car is sat on all its wheels they should be no load on the drop links so you would be able to move them, if the are really easy to move or "rattle" a bit then I would look at replacing them.

When the car is lifted off its wheels then the roll bar will get tensioned and then you shouldn't be able to move the drop links.

hope that makes sense
