Drop in cams for evo 6?

As part of my next upgrade I want a set of decent drop in cams that don't involve valve springs to be changed.

I've not looked into cams properly as I've never changed the cams in any of my cars I've owned so that's why I'm asking from your personal experiences.

I want my car to be a good fast road car and looking to be around the 500 mark once I've got my turbo aswell.

What cams and what gains will I be looking at?

Already got all the normal stage 1 mods but also have JMF manifold and is fully forged but on standard 6 turbo for the time being.

What use are cams If you cant rev higher??

As said it's already forged, has wiesco pistons, eagle rods, reground crank, ARP headstud kit and ARP bottom end bolts.

I don't want to go mad with cams, just something a bit more aggressive over standard that will give me a increase in power, more so mid range that doesn't require all the headwork as I'm going for a S205b and want a nice reliable road car as it won't ever see track time.

I've heard of GSC S1's, HKS and kelfords? Any of them a good drop in?

All of them are quality brands , ask your mapper /depends on what you want..i imagine you are being sensible ,so id Look for response..and not just numbers.

Yeah even after injectors, bigger turbo with cams and map to suit I wouldn't care if it made just over 400, as long as the drivability and power delivery is better I'm not bothered about numbers to much!
