Driver improvment course

Has anyone on here done one, and does anyone know how much they cost.

I got pulled last night for doin 37 in a 30 but I am convinced they detected the car next to me who quickly ducked into a carpark after OVERTAKING me. My mate was following me to a local cruise and his car don't move to well so I took it easy all the way there.

Because I not got any speeding offences in last 3 years and cos of the speed he offered me the course or points so no brainer I said the course

Yea about 4 hrs long. Think you have to attend somewhere local to where the offence was committed though.

Same one local evoowners attend occasionally lol. It's not an utter chav fest just a lil bit of one Haha.

Yh I'm doin the course just wondering what kind of monies it will be.

Didn't argue with him but he wasn't too sure when I asked was it 100% me that was caught on the radar and all he could say is 'i have to use the info given to me by the officer with the detector' as they were on a different road to the radar people

costs the same as fine about £60 last time i done one, usually lasts the morning or afternoon, you do get free tea and biscuits mind............

Suppose its scare tactics really, explaining how 5mph over the speed limit can fatally injure seen it briefly on police camera action.

my wife got done doing 35 in a 30 and she just got 3 points and a £60 fine.after talking to loads of people they got the option to take the above or do the drivers improvment cource

Points for 35 that's harsh. I'm just waiting for my paperwork to fone through
