Double Din on Evo 8?

I have seen it done, but not sure whether it's custom or US or what.

Basically, I am developing a cunning plan with regards to my audio system in the car and would therefore like a double din stereo. Like I said, I have seen it done, but the standard panel is only single din.

Is there a double din dash panel that was fitted in the US or something?

you usually find that most evos have a double din dash panel anyway just with a single din stereo and a cubby hole or gauges in the bottom half

however some models, possibly the 260 only have single din with the heater controlls located in upper part of the dash so i dont think youll be able to move them

its an easy conversion as mine started off as a 260, just need to relocate the controls to the lower part and then put the double din in like this

My PC is in the box on the left in the pic, its a mini-itx board with AMD processor, using a m2-atx power supply, laptop harddrive, windows XP pro, riderunner front end, the sound comes through the standard speakers driven by the amp next to the PC

you can find most stuff on ebay and LinITX.com I have a small keyboard and the 8" screen is touch screen for the control

Ideally Music/Media, Radio (Hopefully with DAB),and almost most importantly: run some sort of app for data logging ECU output probably by using the EVO scan cable (I could use the evoscan software for that)

evoscan looks pretty good when logging
