a r34 gtr for a mint example £20k - 40k
but you can get a gtt for around £10k

Hi, I've actually see one of these... they are quite rare to find, and to be honest you'll probably struggle for parts if you need them.
The ECU is completey different, I dont even think you could splice one in to work.

The turbo flange is different too, the 2.0 Evo uses a TD05H turbo. From what i can remember the 1.8 used a similar one but smaller and had different flanges on both sides of the turbo. You could possibly make one fit if you changed the Manifold for an EVO one, no garantees this would fit on your block mind. Or get a an adapter made up. Either way the down pipe for the exhaust would also have to be changed.

In a nut shell mate, you might have saved a few quid on insurance, but it'll cost ya getting anthing mire than 240bhp out of it.

Yes there is a 1.8 gsr, did a rebuild on it 4 years back, was not surprised when it came in as i had done a full re-build on a "colt cyborg rs" 10 years or so ago. The same engines as a tallon etc. etc. the turbo will fit with no problems.

YES THERE IS AN EVO IN THE 1.8 AFTER ALL, THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THE PISTON SIZE, THAT CAN BE RECTIFIED EASILY WITH A COSWORTH JOB AND HALF A BAG OF SAND!!!!!!

If you need some-one to fit the turbo then give me holla.

i found a websie in australia he knew exacly wat i wanted quoted me 5000$ for arp rebuild kit
there big over there and known as CE Model GSR Lancer AWD Turbo. Using hte CM5A 4G93 model engine

i aint spending that much i got the car really cheap and got 2k to spunk i want wat every petrol head wants more power i got acsese to a exhaust fabricator that can make wat ever i want!!

general maintenace parts come from camskill.co.uk there quite reasonable!!
