I'm just worried that joe bloggs can just delete stuff willy nilly on here.

if thats the case then it needs to be sorted asap.


eg a con man is selling stuff, people post on the thread saying wheres my parts etc etc and the op can remove these posts to scam more people.

well i was under the impression that's what happened, but turns out a member of staff deleted it so i got that wrong lol.

Ordinary members can't even edit there posts after a short time has elapsed let alone delete them so fear not.

As for buying parts off strangers. Send PayPal as payments as proper payments not as gifts cos then you can apply for refund to which PayPal always side with the buyer

paypal doesn't really cover you that well though.
as you said paypal will probably side with the buyer but this process takes time and when they say you have won the case they will only refund you if the seller has the money in his paypal account to refund you with (which he is long gone with the cash by now)

this is speaking from personal experience with being ripped off and paying properly with paypal.

I'm still waiting for the con man to put money in his paypal account so I can get a refund..........obviously this isn't going to happen.


not many are aware of this and think they are safe with paypal.

Apologies, I did get it wrong. Lee had indeed deleted posts in the correct manor. It just didnt show whilst I was on my phone.
