Hey all I'm from London, UK. I love evo's and hope to own one soon just not sure If I could afford running one as it would have to be my daily just like my DC5 is now. Hope to learn a lot about evo's on the forums here although it does seem a little dead on here :/

some pics of my teg:

Nice looking car mate.i use my evo6 as a daily. Not that expensive 2 run as as long as you don't boot it every day and get a good map

thanks guys! River, It would be great to know your experience in detail with the evo 6 and roughly how much it's costing annually. The evo 6 is my favourite looking evo! that or the 8 :p

Had my 6 for year and half now.the performance you get can be expensive 2 maintain. When i bought my 6 the first thing i did was change belts and major service.also on a rolling road 2 check air 2 fuel ratio. All peice of mind.got to find a good local tuner.was running at 310bhp when bought it. Now I have it at 375bhp. New exhaust .map.fuel pump.boost soleniod.spent money on it .Now I just put fuel in it and drive it.no more spending for now.i just get 2 services a year interim and full.its not really that expensive 2 run once you get it all checked over and know its as it should be.it really is a special car . The performance is fantastic. Cant think of another car in the price range where you would get same performance. Handling is amazing. I could let you know all the exact figures if you wanted. Let me know. Get them 2 you the weekend.

ye evo 6's are so nicely priced and look amazing on paper I want to test drive one and compare it to the feel of my teg. A breakdown of detailed costs would be great!

fantastic looking car and a great car, im in a simmilar boat to you i currently own a ep3 type r however i dont use it as a daily car as i work as an mot tester round the corner from my house so i walk to work. i use my type r as a weekend car and would probably do the same if i had an evo. ive always wanted a evo 6 but due to my age and the cost of one geting it insured is close to impossible and to expensive. if you are looking to buy a evo perhaps use it as a weekend car and by another decent reliable car as a daily. good luck
