hi lads & lassys am i right in saying that if your car suffers from fuel cut off does that mean the boost has gone over wat it was maped for as i am suspect of my hks controller is foofed:arms::shock: and is it best just to put a manual boost controller in ?:hm:

your gauge should show that its overboosting

more details on car spec and situation it occurs will help narrow the problem down

It doesn't work on high boost necessarily, it can cut in at 1 bar if the weather is cold, you've got a 3" full exhaust and an air filter. Its the MAF reading too high an input and it cuts to compensate.

shock

bin testing to day and have cut boost to 1.2 bar on hks controller and on full exel on gauge it reads between 24-26 psi. if i set my controller to wot it was maped to 1.6 bar boost it goes that high almost to therty psi.:shock::shock: and cuts down to 1 bar and does not let you exel any more . i think now it was my boost controller that has gon foulty wot do you tecs think am i right

Where are the gauge and the controllers boost feed plumbed in to the manifold?

What mods have you got have you got at least stage 1 if you have just get the car mapped buddy set the boost to what you want it to be and the fuel cut can be raised if the controller is faulty grab a 3 port to put on it

asd for the boost pipes i would have to have a look it but i do know that the boost controller is plumed in as follows as you look at it you have got three pipes one to back of inlet one to turbo and one to actuator sorry about the speling:cry:

So you already have a 3 port on by the sounds of it is there any way u can try someone else's or try urs on another car. Sounds all in all your just waiting for a map on it mate and that should iron out any issues as with mods your car is prob confused that's all they can run real rough when one part don't know what the other is doing

thats wot i thought the controller. as it is set to 1.2 bar and the boost gauge reads 24-26 psi so sounds like the electronic boost controller wot is one of the best boost controllers wots not going to brake the bank its like a money pit:cry:

get a 3 port solenoid and get the ecu mapped to run it
