crunching into 2nd gear

Hi all,
My Evo IX FQ360 has just started to crunch into 2nd gear when changing from 1st to 2nd.
Has anybody got any idea what may be causing this, and is it expensive to fix? Doesn't happen in any other gear.
Car has done 27700 miles.

if not then a fresh drop of silcolene syn tran will sort it

Thats the way i was thinking, but it can be solved sometimes with a minor adjustment to the clutch pedal

To be honest i've only noticed it from cold, will go out tomorrow & see if its there when warmed up.

When cold I go 1st to 3rd always have done until to to temp same habit I had for my old type r as that crunched when cold

I have same problem. A little better when warm but mine crunches in 5th too.

Oddly this was apparent when I got the car, around 27K miles.

Being looked at this week.

Likely to have some fresh oil put in and possible some other additive and see if that solves it

yea mine crunces into 5th when driven hard, been doing it for over 2yrs now put an addertive in last year that worked well no crunching but its started to do it again, so its rebuild time now, new syncros...
