Crail 11th March 2011 Drift Day Pics

Not my pics, stolen from another forum. Was there yesterday and it was pissing with rain ALL day!! Luckily I decided to wear my boarding trousers, jacket, beanie, thick jumpers, boots, etc. Kept me warm & dry the whole day, and apart from my jacket getting drenched I didn't get soaked to the bone this time.

I also FINALLY got to get a passenger run in this PS13 I mapped AGES ago....

You don't get to appreciate how quick cars actually are when your focussed on a laptop, wideband, det-cans, knock analyser, etc, etc. lol However that thing is quick! With 300-odd BHP, RWD, 1.5 way diff and an epic driver it just goes sideways like nothing else. Was so much fun entering corners at 80-85 MPH broad sideways!!

Think I need to get me a RWD toy. :whistling::whistling:

Just got no-where to keep it tho!

Was a good day yeah, my mate with the purple MX5 was just about to take me out at 3pm, then they ended the day!! Was meant to go on until 4pm, so that was a bit of a bummer.

Love to have a go at drifting I think it is one of the most spectacular motorsports to watch, however where the hell do you practice!

Drift days like this are good, legal places to practice. This is the first time my mate in the 4th pic down was out in his S14a drifting, however a few guys do start off by doing streeto, and even now that they are good they still find quiet back roads to do it on, but it's obviously illegal and a big no-no!!
