Latest update two days after putting her back on road the engine self destructed the entire bottom end was fried :-( but on the up side have got a 7 engine on the way so fun times ahead

Phase two engine and box out the bottom of the car with no ramps what joyus fun now to strip all good bits and wait for the arrival of the evo 7 engine then phase three can commence

Result turns out what I thought was a seven engine on its way turns out its an eight

Now that is a result, what model is it from Roy? the perks of a 7 motor is the nicer rocker cover IMO :razz:

Dropped the sump on the 8 engine to find this looks pretty clean to me

Well its in just need to plumb everything back in

Well I managed to get the old girl running yesterday but had to order a new connector for the oil cooler as one snapped doh!! Made some temp bungs so couls at leat start it . The other problem I came across was that the water pump pulley was chewing the back edge of the belt up it looks like the pulley is sat to far out ?? Anyone no if the pulley from the 4 and 8 have different off sets??

The v conversion commences wanted to keep the iv bonnet and lights so this is my answer to keep the iv parts and a v bumper
