Hi All

We've managed to source some Coil On Plug kits for various evo models, the kit comes with mounting plate, wiring harness to plug directly into the standard loom, 4 coil packs and bolts and cable ties. I run one of this kits on my own car and have had no issues.

They are very well made and the base plate is available in silver, gold, red, blue, bronze and black (standard),now for the best bit these only cost £320 each delivered, we have some kits in stock (future ones are 2 week lead time).

If there is an interest in this I will do a group buy on these;
5+ £310 each
10+ £300 each
to get these prices though I would need a deposit of the kits.

Andy

Here's a picture of the set on my car, (taken with my phone sorry)

Yep, apparently instead of running like 0.6mm plug gaps you can run up to 1mm

Oh and they look pretty :)

Thanks for the comments guys, yeah these kits allow you to run a plug gap of at least 0.8mm+

I can test fit a set to a evo 2(guessing same as a 3) that we have here to see what the fit is like I can imagine that the base plate would need modifying but that's not a problem to get another layout made up.

you care to share a picture of yours?

These kits we're selling are nearly £100 cheaper than others on the market, you may be able to diy for cheaper but most i've seen are no where near the quality, use second hand parts, have very rough plates, different colour plugs etc, and of course come with no warranty ;)

I'm not knocking any of these but here's a few pictures of diy ones to compare

I'll second this question. How does it run a stronger spark and how does it allow a greater gap on the spark plug. I have seen these and just thought it was for aesthetics

with the original setup you have one coil pack for two spark plugs meaning that they get 50% of the energy each with the coil on plug each spark plug gets 100% of the energy which means the spark is stronger allowing larger gaps to be run without the spark been blown out from the compression

I had spark blow out at 2.2 bar with a 0.5 gap in the old packs, my COP from GBE has let me run 0.8 and no issues. They also have helped the pick up before boost.
