Hi all, just heard about this site so though I would come and see what its all about! Already recognise so many names from other forums so at least I wont be to much of a stranger haha. :razz:
Wont bore you all to death but had my Evo IV for 4 years now, it was once standard but after a few track days, a few blown diffs and some other bad luck with the standard IV engine I sourced a 17k Tommi Mak engine, a few bolt on bits and an ecutek and was running 360bhp for a couple of years but this year I went for it, stripped the car, took the engine to Mark @ MA Developments to forge the engine then put it all back together myself!
Its all running good at the moment but not sure on power figures, somewhere around the 400-420bhp I guess. I have a diet and bolt in cage planned over the winter and a big turbo and RS rear diff next year and thats where I will leave it and enjoy it (probably) lol
Any questions just give me a shout, sure I will be putting up a few pic threads as the car is still a WIP at the moment!
Quick breakdown of my car (Evo IV GSR):
* MA Developments 2.0 forged Tommi-Mak engine
* 80 series Evo 9 turbo (for now, GT3076R later)
* HKS turbo elbow & 3" downpipe
* DNP Tubular manifold
* Kelford 272 cams & adjustable pulleys
* Rebuilt Evo 6 RS transfer box
* Rebuilt Evo 6 5-speed GSR gearbox
* Evo 8 rear AYC rear diff (for now, RS diff later)
* Evo 8 Brembos all round with AP Strapdrive floating discs & carbotech XP8's
* Tein Monoflex fully adjustable coilovers
* Walbro 255 fuel pump, 750cc injectors & Sard regulator
* Autobahn88 FMIC & hard pipes
* Geekmapped Evo 6 RS ECU
* HEL 19-row oil cooler & braided lines
* 3" inlet with HKS mushroom filter, 3" Fujitsubo exhaust with 4.5" tailpipe
* Evo 5 spoiler, rear lifted carbon fibe bonnet with aero catches
* Evo 6 OZ alloys powercoasted black
