Con Man

Hey guys and girls, just starting this thread to make people aware of a con man called Sahar Malik Hassain, He stays at 51 Loughrigg Street, Bradford and sold me a Evo 8 Crank and a set of Fuel injectors £290 including delivery. The Crank was meant to be in excellent condition as advertised on Pistonheads and fuel injectors are meant to be like new. I got the crank on Saturday and had it checked on Monday and it is scraped on number 4 journal and is oval on the same one measurements confirmed its oval. As for the fuel injectors he never sent them, told me he had a death in the family and couldnt send them so i said i understood his situation and can he send them asap once other things with family were sorted out. I still havent got them, 28 phone calls and 24 text messages during the week and i just got hold of him last night. He said he aint giving me my money back and that ive been F***ed out of the money and there is nothing i can do about it. Well thats where he is wrong, ive reported him for fraud with the police and contacted trade and standards in regards to the crank. This guy tried to say i went to Bradford yesterday all the way from Edinburgh to collect them in person and he knocked £20 off for fuel and paid £100 in cash in person, although i had already paid for them last week and txt to prove it and bank slip. Would have cost me £100 in fuel just to get there had i even had a car cos mine is off the road and in a garage getting re-built again, and back, that ontop of the price i could have bought new ones and saved money, guy is delusional and also tried to say my dad collected them, hes been dead for 3 years. This guy is a joke and im making you all aware that he has a lot of parts for sale for Evos 4-8 and may well have them on ebay as well. I was on a golf course with my father in law and even made a report with the police yesterday at 15.15 from my house phone and several other places i visited yesterday one of them was a police station.
Pistonheads have Banned him and removed all of his ads, and the police will catch up with him soon. beware folks, i cant stand people that do this to others and no wonder people loose faith in ebay and other sites when crap like this happens all the time.

Mate not sure what you mean by over the road sorry, it's only up on this forum not a member of any others. Think you may be referring to the MLR? If someone can copy and paste that would be great.

This is why I always pay with PayPal via my credit card and NEVER send as a gift, I always offer to pay PayPal fees so that I am protected by PayPal and my CC if something similar happens.

hope you get your money back, but the Police will tell you it's a Civil Matter and Trading Standards will take about 10 years to convict him of anything.

Take him to small claims court in Edinburgh, if he does not show up you win by default, and if he does not pay up the courts will send collectors to his house, and possibly even the police for failing to abide by the courts ruling.

If he does show up then beat the living shit out of him, at least it will make you feel better.

Thanks all for the support, just took proof of transactions, texts and call log to police yesterday, been treated as fraud for the injectors but not the crank thats a civil matter, its going to get handed to yorkshire police and see what they can do about getting hold of him. Things like this p#*~ me off and i do seem to have the worst luck and find folk like this all the time.
