hi i have the engine managment light on if i check the codes and sort the problem out if Disconnect the battery earth will the ecu clean my remap off or will it be ok cheers

I would think your map would be safe but you should really get it read to find the fault, have you done anything recently with the car mod wise

can you tell me where the OBD port is on a evo 7 had a look can not see it cheers

Not sure in the 7 I know in mine it's in the drivers footwell peer in and look up

read codes by shorting pin 1 + 4

disconnecting battery will not lose your map
