You will struggle to get that unit to work on your VIII.

I suggest that you purchase a MAC unit, they are not cheap, but they are not expensive either and you will have a MAC Rep in your region for sure so it will not be hard to get hold of.

You just need their cheapest code reader, it works a treat!

Mind you I have those cheap blue tooth of eb×y and worked fine. Although I downloaded the software into my Samsung note which cost about £5.00 however I would recommend to get a proper one as mentioned above.
