Since ive had my stage 1 on my e6 after some driving i have occurred a slight wining sound even if i put it in neutral and coast along it still wines.
I raced my mate this evening and when i changed into 4th it was slipping like hell then griped 5 seconds later :meh: and now the wining sound is even louder ?

I have took it down the bypass a few times after this and its fine atm, does this sound like early stages of clutch maybe ?

Thanks guys! :)

Currently running 341bhp
370ft lb

Could be release bearing, see does pressing the clutch stop the noise

Whining noise is usually diff or gearbox, if it slipped at one point I woul say yes change the clutch but get the whining noise checked out before it becomes too expensive

Is the severity of the whining gear related? Ie certain gears or is it just speed related

Speed related mate doesn't matter what gear even neutral the the wining gets louder the faster I go and if I have a mad moment and really give it some the wining seems to get worse for a lil bit ?

Really? Sorry for the stupid question but how many diffs do these have ? And what will happen once it will completely gone, can that make it slip in gear like it did?

Pointless guessing, if the clutch is slipping then replace that first, then look into the whining noise if it is still there after a new clutch.

Wheel bearing.... Or maybe the car is just upset at the mess on the floor in the passenger side.

If the clutch is slipping just replace it and have the flywheel skimmed too or replaced and if the noise is still there after get it investigated, or just let a garage sort the clutch and find the noise
