clutch advise

can anyone recommend a decent clutch thats better than the standard item but not to ridiculously priced?

Most run Exedy organic ...

But people have differing opinions on what they like. Depends how you drive the car and what sort of power your running.
Single plate clutch upto about 400 bhp is the usual then people tend to start fitting twin plates.
Paddle clutch is ok but you can't really slip it so it's ment for track really where you want a quick positive gear change. But they are fine for the road but just take getting use to.
Have a look around and see what the traders are offering on deals :)

On my old 6 i ran an 8's standard clutch and lightened flywheel. Managed 400 nicely :)

i agree. fit a evo 8/9 clutch and flywheel. they have a greater surface area and will run 400/400 no problem :)

As said Evo 8 clutch and Flywheel would be what I would go too :)

Yeah, e8 clutch is bigger than 5 so will handle more power, but with an 8 flywheel is a straight fit.
