Hi guys I have got an Evo X that is making a clunking/grinding noise when braking from any speed. We have changed the pads but this hasn't helped. It's been at the garage and we have ruled out it being anything to do with the discs. The discs are slightly warped but i wouldn't of thought it would warrant this level of noise. I do have floating discs on the front and thought it maybe the fitting kit on the bell housing been over worn (Demon Tweeks say this shouldn't be the problem because they are floating discs and they should move anyway). Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated????

Thanks

I took it to R B Motorsports in Ormskirk and they took the whole breaking system apart. It turns out, the bell had worn spots, the pads were wearing slightly on the lip on the discs and the discs are slightly warped. They have cleaned them up and the breaking system is now crisp and smooth with no noise. However, the top right engine mount is worn and needs replacing and I am having trouble finding an uprated one.
