I was reading andy's post about having that clunk sound
from the rear when reversing....mine was a bit similar, only
The sound was coming from the fronts specially when reversing
I didn't use the car for 2 weeks,and when I drove it,
It gives this clunk sound...would it be bushes guys?

Thanks

Mine was when changing gear mate, is it just one clunk? Could be anything really... Check your gearbox mount bushes and obvious stuff like wishbones

Thanks Andy...there is no clunk sound when changing gears...but when
I start to reverse, the sound came to play....but I will definitely check
The other bits...I hope it's not too expensive! Lol

You need to gove the whole front end a real good check over, It's a bloody nightmare chasing clunks! get a pry bar or something you can use as a lever and go round all the bushs and ball joints do a visual check and try and move them them with your lever. Also try and expose the car to a variety of conditions, I.E going over bumps, with one or both front wheels, on full lock left and right etc. I've also been known to sit on front end, bonnet up and a mate drives it over some bumps!

Have you got standard top mounts ?
