clifford alarm what class for insurance?

recently been ringing round for insurance but don't really understand what my alarm is classed as.
it is clifford 6something or other. do you class it as a thatcham, class1 etc?
what are the differences?:confused:

They have a list on their database but they always want to hear you say what it is as the conversation is recorder, so they can wriggle out of a theft claim if it occurs.

Bloody insurance freaks!!!

have had three quotes so far:

pace ward £639 excess 500

sky insurance £841 excess 350

admiral £965 excess 350

have listed al mods and power output 360ish

just got an email from direct line saying if i fit tracker they will insure me £1405
they can jog on....
funny how different quotes are for people.
you reckon they just pick a no. out of a hat?:eek:

Try Keith Michaels as well
tried them via email as there no. is chargeable to mobiles.
they should be sending me an email but have not received as yet.
am also waiting for a reply from adrian flux.

tried nowell & richards (there website says evo insurance speicalists)
and he would'nt give me a quote for 20th of this month because it was wasting his time????? told me to ring up when i need insurance:eek:

what are you paying mate? and who with??

I'm paying with Adrian Flux with a thatcham 1 cat alarm, with one clain being made on me, otherwise I would of had three years no claims - So no, no claims bonus and an accident, where I scratched some little geaks reno clio bumer on the back bumer, which propably could of been te cutted out - I gave him my number and said I would get it sorted out of my pocket, but know. Still claimed 2k - Plus i gave the chap my number and I said I would pay for it cash - Didn't even call me - Little Bastard!!! :mad:
1,800 quid third party fire an threft - With a cat one certificate.

They where the best buy a mile though mate - Get a quote from them and they will beat you cheapest - I'm sure they will mate!!

Wow feel sory for u ollie,I'm with admiral,with 10yrs n/c a clifford cat 1 n a tracker its costin me around 1k which inc european cover,break dwn cover,n an extra 30k personal cover n this is with all mods declared,if I was to ins a 4k bodykit it'd be an extra 50quid a yr lol.

Yeah, being under 25 mate - You will get robbed bling. The cheapest quote i got when I was 24 with no no cliams bonus was £2500 :eek:, so your not doing to bad there.

I'm glad I went through the crap ins prices with little cars,its mad that I can ins a 120k lambo for 200quid more than I'm payin for the evo though.
